It started with a simple but deeply held belief: that the animals behind every act of Udh'hiya, Aqiqah, and Sadaqah deserve to be raised with the same intention and care that the sacrifice itself demands.
Al Mubarak Ranch was founded not as a commercial livestock operation — but as a response to a need. A need for Muslims around the world, especially those in the diaspora, to fulfil their religious obligations through a service they could genuinely trust. One that wouldn't cut corners, wouldn't source from unknown brokers, and wouldn't treat Udh'hiya as just another transaction.
We chose Tanzania for its wide open land, its natural grazing environment, and its suitability for raising healthy, high-quality livestock the way it has always been done — naturally, ethically, and with purpose.
From the beginning, we made a commitment: our goats and sheep would be ranch-raised first. Our own animals, on our own land, under our direct care. Only when demand exceeds our supply do we look outward — and only to vetted partners we personally inspect.
That commitment hasn't changed. And it never will.
