How We Source & Replace Every Animal — Our Full Commitment to You

Sourcing and Replacing Policy

Our commitment is simple: your Udh'hiya, Aqiqah, or Sadaqah must be valid, healthy, and Sharia-compliant. Here’s exactly how we source animals and handle replacements if issues come up.

Al Mubarak Ranch, Tanzania

1. Our Sourcing Priority

a) All goats and sheep are raised first at our own ranch. They are raised on Free-range & semi-intensive grazing on natural pastures, shrubs, and wild grass No prohibited feed, hormones, or confinement, Vet-checked, vaccinated, Monitored for age and health to meet all 4 schools of fiqh

b) Selected External Partners Only If the Ranch Stock runs out when the demand exceeds Al Mubarak Ranch supply,

We supplement from:

     1. Pre-approved local farmers we work with year-round

     2. Specific approved markets in Tanzania and East Africa (Kenya &Tanzania)           that we inspect in person

We will never:

- Buy from random brokers or middlemen

- Purchase animals without physical inspection by our team

- Accept animals that fail our health, age, or defect checks

Cows & camels: Always sourced from long-term trusted partner farms and markets under the same standards.

2. Our Quality Standards for Every Animal

Whether from our ranch or partners, every animal must pass our quality control:

1. Age check: Teeth inspection to confirm Islamic minimum age

2. Health check: Vet confirms no sickness, lameness, blindness, or extreme thinness

3. Sharia defect check: Free from any defects that invalidate Udh'hiya or Aqiqah

4. Weight & condition check: Must be robust enough to provide good quality meat

Any animal that fails is rejected immediately.

3. Replacement Policy

if your animal becomes sick, injured, or dies before slaughter:

1. We replace it at no extra cost to you

2. You get a video or photos of the new animal with your name tag before slaughter

3. For Udh'hiya: Replacement happens before end of Eid days. If not possible due to time, we’ll do Sadaqah on your behalf and offer full refund or credit for next year Your choice.

If external sourcing is needed because ranch stock finished:

1. We notify you by email or WhatsApp before purchase

2. We send photos or video of proposed replacement animals for your records

3. You may cancel for full refund if you only want Al Mubarak Ranch stock. No questions asked.

If your animal is below expected size or weight:

We don’t guarantee exact kg, but all animals meet minimum healthy standards. If an animal is noticeably underdeveloped, we replace it. Goats or sheep average 25-50kg live weight from Al Mubarak Ranch.

4. Your Rights & Our Promises

1. Transparency: You’ll always know if your animal came from Al Mubarak Ranch or a vetted partner. We state it on your video proof.

2. No last-minute surprises: We secure animals weeks before Eid. External sourcing only happens if we see demand spiking early.

3. Acting as your Wakil: You appoint us as your agent (wakil). We don’t sell meat    we fulfill your religious duty on your behalf.

4. Documentation: All purchases, vet checks, and replacements are logged. Available on request.

5. What We Don’t Cover

1. Eid date changes: We follow Internatinal moon sighting. If your country celebrates Eid on a different day, no worries your sacrifice is still valid since slaughter is done continuously foe 3 days.

2. Personal preference: We can’t replace an animal because of colour or any other reason as long as it passed all Sharia and health checks.

3. Force majeure: Natural disasters, government bans, or civil unrest. In these rare cases, we’ll do Sadaqah with available stock and refund the difference, or give full credit.
